lunch in the woods

i filled my orange, thrifted vintage Thermos with steaming hot potato leek soup, donned my brand new handknit slouch beret and headed into the woods for a photowalk and to find a place to picnic. that’s goodness.

Earlybird Registration is now open for my brand new online class Toy Camera with Photoshop. I am very excited about the response so far and would love for you to join us.

I can’t help myself — I LOVE this song. dancin’ in the kitchen after dinner. sharing our moves, laughing. my daughter (age 6) has all the moves!

smelt fishin’ and makin’ whoopie

in fits and starts — that’s how winter has arrived here in maine this year. the bay and rivers in my town are finally frozen enough to support the smelt shacks. a smelt shack you ask? smelt fishing — it’s a form of ice fishing — for these little buggahs. and they are quite tasty i might add.

now on to the makin’ whoopie part:)……whoopie pie that is! — made from scratch by our lovely neighbor. pure ecstasy!
