harpswell, maine

Harpswell, Maine is made up of the Harpswell Neck mainland, Great Island (where the mister and I lived for several years), Orr’s Island, and Bailey Island. Although we now live in a more agricultural town near many rivers, we still enjoy taking trips to this magical place that still feels very much like home. Here are some stunning spots on Bailey Island…

Cribstone Bridge
seaweed at low tide
lobstah traps (there is nothing quite like a Maine accent — very special)
looking out over Garrison Cove with Harpswell Neck in the distance

a feast at Cook’s Lobster House: lobster stew, steamers (clams), and of course, lobstah (i always say i would like this to be my dying meal)!
