on vacation!

a simple summery breakfast of farm fresh egg from a local farm (oh the flavor is like sunshine) with dashes of pepper and salt, kale lightly sautéed in olive oil, with a dollop of wasabe mayonnaise for dipping and divine head rushes. Accompanied by a coffee with strong notes made in this stovetop coffee percolator. sometimes the simple things are the best. school’s out for summer! it’s time for sun tea, bubbles, sprinklers, digging in the dirt, skinned knees, giggling gleeful screaming children, sticky sweet popsicle drips on hands another year bigger, swirling paint dreams on bright white paper, blue nail polish, running through rainshowers, sliding down rainbows. and late evening outdoor slow food dinners with my sweetie as the stars come out one by one. ahh, summer’s here:)
