We are filling the last of our summer days with frequent trips for creamy gelato and sorbetto, lemony white wine and olive oil sampling at this wine bar, casual strolls down country lanes at sunset, designing wildflower bouquets, simple food made with local organic ingredients, homemade wild blueberry pie made by my Love, splashing in the chilly Maine ocean, cloud gazing, and bookstore browsing. One of my favorite bookstore haunts sells used books and operates on the honor system. You can find it in Hallowell, Maine on Water Street. There’s a reason Maine is known as Vacationland and we are happy to be full-timers.
