Nemo? Really? Couldn’t they have thought of a better name for this blizzard? This was some storm! — no little fish mind you — 2 1/2 feet of snow accumulation, higher in drift areas, howling gusts of wind, white outs, power outages (although we were lucky not to lose ours), and a sleepless night for me (I can’t sleep through heavy winds that shake the house and bend the trees). A night and a day afterwards all was calm with bright sunshine and blue, blue, blue skies!…
The mountain!! — how many feet do you think this snow plow mound is? Well, take a look at my peanuts at the very top, and that should give you some idea.
