This photo session was a creative gift for me …a mellow, fun-filled experience with two amazing souls who are comfortable in their own skin, photogenic, and charismatic. This is Matt Loosigian and Mariah Sewall :: two talented musicians from the Midcoast Maine region, who together make up the acoustic duo, Porch Light. They mesmerize with their musicianship, chemistry, and vocal and guitar harmonies — have a listen (sigh). I suggested they sing some of their favorite tunes during the session, as a way to relax and enjoy themselves, so that I could capture more natural, authentic portraits. I’d say it worked like a charm.
