~an intricate, rambling and mysterious stand of pines that I came upon while walking through the forest~ Their magic left me spellbound and pulled this tiny poem from my heart…
Joy leaped into her soul as her feet pressed into the soft moss of the shaded places where the sun did not reach. She walked on, through a vast cathedral of ghostly pines, towards an invisible choir of twittering voices that beckoned her.

I am drawn to the clips I’ve seen of the movie, which will be released on September 30th. Tim Burton directing! That entices me.
~a mystical window of light that became brighter as I worked on the edit of this iPhone image~ Thus the title… an ancient portal clear as the note of a bird.
