It was a pleasure to meet fellow Maine blogger and talented photographer Erin Little of Bluebirdbaby. She and her partner Mark (an amazing artist), and her daughter threw a house warming party in their new home; a delightful, renovated historical church that they have clearly put much time, energy, creativity, and love into. We met new friends, ate delicious, healthy food, and contra-danced the night away! Erin graciously allowed me to photograph her unique, beautiful home and share it with you. I’ve got some deep abode lust going on here. Take a look…This inviting staircase, with welcoming doors open wide, takes you to their creative space. So much good energy and inspiration contained within these walls…Mark gave folks the tour of their studio. He even shared a photograph of himself on a motorcycle — he was a professional road racer at one time. Upbeat, mellifluous fiddle music filled the air and invited us to dance together. Swinging our partners, promenading, and sashaying.I love the shot of Erin’s daughter E with the chickens.Look at these raised beds — the veg are thriving! We were let in on why — horse manure. I’ll have to remember that one.
Thank you Erin, Mark, E, and family/friends for a very special evening. Can’t wait to see you again. xo
